Keynote Speaker

Greg Fallon

Autodesk Inc., USA

Greg Fallon leads Strategy for the Manufacturing Industry Segment and the Forge Cloud Platform business. These groups are developing products to help companies thrive in the next industrial revolution. Previously, Greg headed Autodesk's Simulation and Generative Design and advanced manufacturing product teams, spearheading Autodesk’s development efforts for generative design and additive manufacturing technology. Before joining Autodesk in 2015, Greg held leadership positions at ANSYS.
Greg is deeply interested in the role of additive manufacturing in the future of making. As manufacturers, we are all under increasing pressure to deliver better products faster, at lower cost, and with less waste. Greg believes that additive technology holds the promise to optimize design and manufacturing processes and drive product innovation by making previously impossible designs possible.

Greg lives in Portland Oregon with his family. When he’s not talking additive manufacturing, Greg can be found geeking out on other advanced technology trends like simulation, composite materials, robotics, and artificial intelligence. He sits on the board of the Oregon Museum of Science and Innovation (OMSI) and is actively involved in STEM education in local middle and high schools, inspiring the next generation of manufacturing leaders.

Among comic book superheroes, Tony Stark is Greg’s favorite. Why? Because he doesn’t have powers from a freak accident or through an extraterrestrial birth. No, he’s an engineer who uses his brain – and technology – to solve problems. That’s what Greg enjoys most about his work at Autodesk, the commitment to finding manufacturing solutions that give you the power to make anything.
